Our rapid growth and continuing success means we have an opening for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Toronto, ON. This technical role will implement and support all aspects of the corporate IT environment including the infrastructure, applications and related services your coworkers rely on every day. This role will also require providing help desk support to our growing office in Toronto, Ontario. 

Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Provide high-quality IT support across a range of systems, applications and user communities using an internal case management system 
  • Provide detailed technical support on-site for various applications, personal computers (MacOS and Windows), printers, faxes, audio-video equipment, video conference technology, telephony (VoIP) and Apple/Android mobile devices
  • Onboard and setup new employees with their laptop, computer and required software
  • Ensure office room equipment is checked daily for consistency and functionality
  • Ensure patch, capacity, and performance management is performed on end user devices
  • Support a mixed portfolio including on-prem, IaaS and SaaS systems and applications 
  • Support and enforce corporate policies and operational practices  
  • Ensure all security, change management, and operational requirements are met 
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation and procedures 
  • Proactive system monitoring, analysis, tuning and maintenance 
  • VMware administration and related services 
  • Windows Server administration and related services
  • Office 365 administration 
  • Network management of switches, routers, wireless, firewall, LAN/WAN, VPN, RADIUS, etc 
  • Support various IoT devices (door access, audio/visual equipment, printers, cameras, etc) 
Essential Skills & Qualifications  
  • College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computing Systems and/or Information Technology 
  • 5 - 10 years’ experience supporting a Corporate IT infrastructure 
  • Experience with a mixture of on-premise and cloud-based applications 
  • Solid networking experience and troubleshooting skills Exposure to security concepts / best practices 
  • Demonstrated ongoing learning and development of the latest IT technologies 
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Office365, VMware, and Cisco experience preferred
